Life in the Spiritual World corresponds to forms and changes perceivable in the material world, but is governed not by the laws of natural science, but by corresponding laws of the soul, since it is a projection of the soul's own states of being. These spiritual laws illustrate a spiritual ecology, based both on cycles and evolutionary developments, which mirrors the cycles of nature and our planet's evolutionary development. This lecture was first given at the College of Psychic Studies, London, in March, 1984, and draws on the experiences and analyses of Emanuel Swedenborg.
