I was Hungry And You Gave Me Food

by Rev. Matthew L. Genzlinger

Type of Event: Worship Service: Sermon only

Date Recorded: February 01, 2015

Location: West Concord, MA

Topics: Charity / Life of Use / Service

This week we are beginning a seven part series on the following words from Matthew 25: "For I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; I was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me." (Matthew 25:35-36)
According to the Heavenly Doctrines, on a spiritual level, these verses describe what charity is in its essence and how we should practice charity in the life we live. We all know that living a life of charity is important. But how exactly do we do this?...
