"Then Aaron shall cast lots for the two goats: one for Jehovah and the other lot for Azazel" (Leviticus 16:8). Thinking of the coming Easter season, how does the Old Testament teach us to approach our Living God? The ritual of the Day of Atonement as described in Leviticus is a picture of the states leading to repentance: humility, heavenly desire, and power in ultimates. Closing prayer by Rev EH Carswell.
