"And Hagar saw that she had conceived, and her mistress was despised in her eyes." (Genesis 16:4) When young people begin to develop the power of reason it is often used to find fault with others. Why do our rational powers develop at first in a rather negative way? It is part of God's plan to lead to true intelligence.
