The Lord came to seek and save what was lost. The stories of the Word demonstrate the lost as those in good who have wandered from truth. The Lord came to restore truth to them rather than falsity, and save them as a result. A sign to us that we are in good and love, if we love truth. A lack of desire to pursue truth is an indication we are not in good.
