As Jesus traveled toward Jerusalem a Samaritan village refused to have Him and His disciples stay there. James and John asked if they could call fire down from heaven to destroy the village. Jesus sternly rebuked them. We have parts of our mind like these two disciples that are all too ready to condemn and wish bad things on others. The Lord would wish a different response in our lives.
