Course will emphasize mental states rather than curriculum studies. Exodus 15-40. First grade child. Second grade: Levitucus, Numbers, Deut, 3rd chapter of Joshua. 2nd grade - 9th year: What is state, what should education do for child. 39th year of wandering in wilderness. 10 Commandments on stone, given to children of Israel represents transfer from parents; first year of 40 years wandering was devoted to making tabernacle to have these tablets - way of protecting Word must be build into mind (conscience) in same way. It's the mind that must be organized into a nation. Sending out twelve tribes into land to see and report.
Certain things must be learned in the wilderness period of life. There needs to be work and also free play because span of concentration is short and needs lots of help in extending itself.
