Elijah retreated to a cave in a state of overwhelmed sadness when Jezebel sought his life. While there the Lord came to him and asked him the key question, “What are you doing here?” He then provided the perspective and guidance he needed most. He offers similar guidance to us, urging us to consider our situation and our next steps in light of the clear truths of His Word.
