Turning Good Will Into Good Actions
Type of Event: Worship Service: Sermon only
Date Recorded: December 07, 2025
Location: Boulder, CO
Topics: Christmas
As Christmas approaches—a season when both the world’s brokenness and our hopes for something better come into sharper focus—we are reminded that the world at the time of the Lord’s birth was teetering on the edge of spiritual extinction, shrouded in darkness and unable to break free from the grip of evil.
The Lord’s coming was not merely a historical event but a Divine intervention that restored freedom, brought light into the world, and gave humanity the renewed possibility to know truth, do good, and awaken to the promise of “peace on earth, good will toward all.”
Yet the real transformation the Lord desires is not seasonal or external, but deeply internal and enduring. Just as Mary embodied true innocence and willingness by saying, “Let it be to me according to your word,” we, too, are called to prepare a way for love and charity to be born in our own lives and shared with others all year long.
