After the Lord rose He appeared to people a number of times. We will explore a time He interacted with Peter and showed Him how to really see others, the Lord, and His purpose in life. | By Rev. Erik J. Buss | Bryn Athyn Heilman HallA Fruitful Life
Worship Service: Family (may include music) - April 11, 2021
The Lord asks us in the Gospel of John 15:4 to be a branch that brings forth fruit. A fruitful life is a useful life. With the Lord's guidance, our desire to help can "branch out" in many useful ways as we become more and more capable of serving. | By Rt. Rev. Peter M. Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - April 11, 2021
We are beginning a series on education, specifically New Church education. Education is more than just what you learn in school: it is a process of growing from ignorance into wisdom, from selfishness into selflessness, from hell into heaven. This Sunday we will look at the reasons that we all have to learn, and why we need to keep on learning into eternity. Education is something that we can never be done with, especially if we want to follow the Lord and be part of His Kingdom. | By Rev. Joel C Glenn | Westville, RSAThe Lord's Glorification

Worship Service: Informal Family - April 04, 2021
After the Lord rose from the tomb, He was present with His disciples -- and with all of us -- in a new and different way. Was He more present, or less present? Because of this pandemic, we’ve often been unable to be physically present with our loved ones. But, what can the Easter story teach us about the power of spiritual presence? | By Rev. Solomon J. Easter Sunday | By Rev. Erik J. Buss | Bryn Athyn CathedralFrom Disbelief to Joy
Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - April 04, 2021
Easter is an opportunity to reflect on the Lord’s life, death, and resurrection. But what if you’re not sure what you believe about all of that? Or what if you believe that it happened but it doesn’t feel particularly relevant to your life? In either case, you’re in good company. On Easter morning the disciples did not immediately believe that the Lord had risen from the dead. It took them a while and a number of experiences to get to the point where they believed that it was true. On Sunday we’ll look at some of the stories after the Lord’s resurrection from the Gospel of Luke and what we can learn from them about the process of growing in our belief in the Lord. | By Rev. Why did people put their clothes on the donkey and on the road to prepare for the Lord’s triumphal entry? In what way can we also put our “clothes on the road” to make way for the Lord in our life? | By Rev. Solomon J. Keal | Bryn Athyn Heilman HallPalm Sunday: The Lord Coming to Help

The people of Jerusalem rejoiced as Jesus rode into the city on Palm Sunday. But they didn't know what kind of a leader He intended to be. Can we accept the Lord as a God who comes to help us? | By Rev. Eric H. Carswell | Bryn Athyn CathedralPalm Sunday: A King Who Comes to Serve
Worship Service: Sermon only - March 28, 2021
Jesus entered Jerusalem riding on a lowly donkey. He came to serve all of us. How hard is it to both acknowledge Him as the Infinite God and also one who comes to help each of us in each moment to lead wiser and kinder lives? | By Rev. Eric H. Carswell | Bryn Athyn CathedralThe Coming Kingdom
Worship Service: Childrens Talk & Adult Sermon - March 28, 2021
When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey the onlookers took it to be an ancient symbol of kingship. And indeed, it was. Yet their expectations of that coming kingdom were far removed from the kingdom that Jesus sought to establish. Jesus knew that the people expected an immediate overthrow of oppression and the onset of an earthly kingdom with Jesus as their benevolent ruler. The kingdom Jesus actually established was one of hard work and repentance, in other words, a spiritual kingdom. This Sunday we will look at how our own expectations are contrary to what the Lord actually intends for us. | By Rev. Joel C Glenn | Westville, RSAChoosing Sides

Evil defends itself differently from good. Learning to recognize those differences can help us when we are dealing with conflict in our lives. Choosing heavenly defense mechanisms will always promote health and life in us and in others. | By Rt. Rev. David H. Lindrooth | Bryn Athyn Heilman Hall
