Part 5 of 5 in series. Theme of camp: From Arcana 2039, "There are loves of three kinds that constitute the celestial things of the Lord's kingdom, namely, conjugial love, love for infants, and the love for society, or mutual love". Also see Mark 10:1-27. Class theme: People who choose the happiness of others over their own are said to have mutual love. We are not given this love at birth, and neither can we expect it to automatically bubble up inside of us in adult age. Mutual love is something we receive from the Lord in direct proportion to some very specific choices we make over the passage of time. Learn what these choices are, and why "there is no government in the heavens except that of mutual love" (Heaven and Hell 213) Suggested reading: Arcana Coelestia 1594 | By Rev. Derek P. Elphick | Laurelville, PAThe Love of Infants
