Goran Stockenstrom is Professor of Scandanavian Languages and Literature at the University of Minnesota. Born in Sweden, he received his doctorate at Uppsala University, where Swedenborg was educated. He has specialized in Strindberg and Ibsen, and has pioneered in research on Swedish-American culture. Dr. Stockenstrom is also active as advisor of productions of Scandanavian plays.
