The Writings of the New Church make a clear distinction between the worship of life and external worship involving rituals. We will be looking at what the Writings tell us about the essentials of worship as well as what attitudes destroy genuine worship. In addition, we will investigate the priest's role in worship and take up the subject of variety versus diversity.
