A theme throughout the Word is that the Lord continually urges the people to choose whether they will follow Him or not. A very real human tendency in all of us is to make this choice a whole lot more complicated than it needs to be; however, it is really a simple choice to make. In many ways after you strip away all of the shades of gray, it really becomes a binary decision. Understanding the simplicity of choosing a side can often help to strengthen our commitment to serving the Lord.
